Barbara Waggoner

Barbara is a long-time Lawrence resident. Early in career, she was in charge of what has become the Department of Continuing Education at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

She holds an M.A. in Journalism from the University of Kansas and has served on the State Board of the League of Women Voters. She also worked in the creation of the Lawrence Preservation Alliance.

Currently, Barbara has a courtesy appointment in the Center for American Studies at the University of Kansas.
