Committees

Douglas County Historical Society Committees are being formed.

Membership – The Membership Committee will be chaired by a member of the Douglas County Historical Society Board. Its purpose is to develop programs to retain personal and family membership and to enroll new members. This committee will develop a benefits program for members. It will also review membership policies and make recommendations to the Board for any changes needed.

Nominations and Election – This committee will be chaired by a member of the Board. Its purpose is to nominate members for vacancies as they occur and to seek candidates for the fall election. It will also be responsible for creating the election process. The museum Director will serve as a non-voting member and adviser for this committee.
