Jerree Catlin
After graduation from the University of Kansas with a BS in education, Jerree taught history and English in the Lawrence public schools (West Junior High and South Junior High) for several years before moving with her family to the Kansas City area, where she substituted in secondary schools until returning to Lawrence in 1977. Later Jerree returned to KU for coursework in computer science and in 1987 began developing computer-related documentation and teaching technical training offered through KU’s Department of Academic Computing Services to KU faculty and staff as well as junior high and high school students during summer computer camps.
For more than twenty years, Jerree served many roles within KU's technology departments, including manager of Technical Training, associate director of User Services, Academic Computing Services codirector, and associate director of Information Services and Director of the Information Services' Program and Service Management Office. Jerree is an active volunteer, having served on numerous committees and boards within the Lawrence community.
