When you join the Watkins, you help us share the history of Douglas County through innovative exhibits, creative programs, and educational experiences for young and old alike. And, as a member, you receive exclusive benefits, including exhibit previews, discounts on ticketed museum events, inside information, and other members-only perks, and there are multiple levels at which to join.
Membership Benefits & Levels:
Individual – $50/year
Student (with valid student ID) – $15/year
- Quarterly Watkins newsletter
- One discounted ticket for all Watkins programs/workshops/tours
- $5.00 off a purchase of $10.00 or more in the museum’s gift shop
- Invitation to member-only programs and events
Household – $75/year
- Includes all individual benefits plus:
- Discounted tickets to Watkins programs for all household members
- Invitation to Annual Meeting
Associate – $100-249/year
- Includes all Household benefits plus:
- Your name listed in annual report
- 10% discount on research fees of $20 or more
- Vote for members of the Douglas County Historical Society Board of Directors
Supporter – $250-499/year
- Includes all Associate benefits plus:
- 15% discount on research fees of $20 or more
Patron – $500-999/year
- Includes all Supporter benefits plus:
- 25% discount on research fees of $20 or more
Benefactor – $1000+/year
- Includes all Patron benefits plus:
- 50% discount on rental fee for a private event
- Invitation to annual major donors’ event
J.B. Watkins Circle Fellows
- $2,500 sponsors receive Benefactor-level benefits plus the option to sponsor a program or event
- $5,000 sponsors receive Benefactor-level benefits plus the option to sponsor a changing exhibit, program series, or major event
