From its formation in 1977 out of a network of volunteer women helping other women, the Willow Domestic Violence Center has grown into a refuge and support network for all victims of domestic and partner abuse. This anniversary exhibit–developed with the aid of the Willow and featuring documents, images, and items from their collection–tells the evolving story of a vital Lawrence institution.
